The first LeBoulanger bakery opened in 1981 in Los Altos, California. Since then it's become a successful chain of bakery/cafes throughout the Bay Area. In addition to its specialty - fresh-baked breads and pastries - LeBoulanger offers a full cafe menu, with sandwiches, soups, salads and pizza. LeBoulanger has been recognized many times for its fresh breads (especially its sourdough). The San Francisco Fair & Exposition competitions, the San Jose Business Journal and more.
